About GGMA
Who we are
GGMA (Grimm's Global Macro Aggregator) publishes daily briefings and analysis on global markets and the economy. The editor is Dr Günter Grimm.
GGMA is based in Zürich, Switzerland, and was founded in 2025. Our flagship product, GGMA Squawk & Chat, is a real-time macro squawk and live-chat service for institutional traders, hedge funds, family offices, asset managers, corporate treasuries, brokers and private investors.
What we publish
The Markets Briefing aggregates and explains the news that moves markets: each item names and links its source. Our own analysis — Our view, What's Priced, First Take and the previews — is marked as such. Market prices come from market data at the time stamped in each article.
Every article is reviewed and approved by the editor before it is published.
Who writes it
Dr Günter Grimm has more than 30 years of experience across global FICC markets, with senior roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, JPMorgan, UBS and Credit Suisse. He holds a PhD in Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
